Our Children's Ministry Is as Active as Our Children!

Please join us for Sunday School! The children's ministries focuses on grades 1st through 5th. Our dedicated teachers, Clayton and Erica Thompson for 1st and 2nd graders, Steve McColskey for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade boys and Linda Kearney for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls, plan and prepare exciting lessons from God's word each Sunday morning.

Following Sunday School, our children join their parents and participate in the music portion of worship and then return to our Children’s Department area for Children's Church. This exciting hour is filled with visuals such as our Bible In Living Color felt board series, music and 'hands on' practical applications of the lessons being presented.

On Wednesday evenings we gather together for our Awana Club, from the first week of September through the middle of May. Awana is an International Bible centered organization whose goal is to reach children with the gospel of Christ and to teach them to serve Him. Awana stands for 'Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed'. (2 Timothy 2:15) Every child is celebrated as they work through their handbooks filled with Bible verses for them to memorize and apply to their lives.
